Man is the only creature that God created with the capacity to host Him and find expression on Earth through.

Genesis 1:26 [26] Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” [27]So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

All creatures find manifestation and see God through man and if man cannot express God, then he would have failed. (Romans 8:19) That is why fellowship with God is so important.

When you commune with God, you will come out of that place and people will know that you have been with Jesus (Matthew 5:14-16).

Exodus 24:16,18 [16]Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. [18]So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Exodus 34:35 And whenever the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone, then Moses would put the veil on his face again until he went in to speak with Him.

When Moses was caught up in God’s glory, he came back with his face shining.

The problem with the body of Christ is that we know scriptures but lack a personal relationship with God through fellowship yet the substance of the Word is caught while at His feet.

A personal relationship with God is something you must be intentional and deliberate about.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…

Mark 3:13 And He went up on the mountain and called to HIM those He HIMSELF wanted. And they came to Him.

God wants you for Himself. He loves you so much that He wants the best for you but can not help you outside of fellowship.

Desires are not bad but we have to be careful how we go about fulfilling them; Every activity you engage in (marriage, business, career etc) should be an offspring of fellowship because it is only that which is born of God that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4).

The key to living a fulfilled and prosperous life is staying at the feet of the Master (2 Chronicles 26:5).

Haggai 2:8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts.

Whatever belongs to God is yours but you attain it by walking with Him: the key is fellowship (Matthew 6:33).

Satan always fights to draw us away from the place of fellowship because he knows that man is at his weakest point away from fellowship. That is why you must intentionally walk with God (fellowship).

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together unless they are agreed?

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

Enoch so walked with God that death did not touch him. Your walk with God should not just be a one time visitation but a constant dwelling in the place of fellowship because there lies your protection, provision, and preservation (Psalms 91:1,7).

The first call to all of us is the call to salvation but the next level is personal; God has no favorites but has intimates and it is upon a born-again believer to determine how far they will go in their walk with God.

There are people in the bible who worshipped God from afar because their level of walk with God could not permit them to come closer while others worshipped from a place where God’s glory was light.

You must make up your mind to shift your level of fellowship and communion with God. There are adjustments you will need to make.

John 15:14-15 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. [15] No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

It is not enough to say, “I am a friend of God”, you must obey and follow His commands. There are decisions you will have to make because you fear and love God more than your job, career, wife, relationships etc.

God’s friends are the people who fear Him and because we were created to host Him, it is to them that He reveals His secrets (Psalms 25:14 NLT, Proverbs 18:13)
