Genesis 1:3 Then GOD SAID, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

The first words in the bible were used for creation and not communication. This means beyond communication; you can use your words to create things you desire more so those that are consistent with God’s will.

Every word you speak carries creative power; that is why you must not speak carelessly knowing that you will give an account of every word you speak. Mathew 12:36

So, you ought to speak like your Father in heaven: speak words of grace, life, joy, peace, etc. We ought to speak life wherever we go because God left us here as His representatives.

Isaiah 55:10-11 (GNT) “My word is like the snow and the rain that come down from the sky to water the earth. They make the crops grow and provide seed for planting and food to eat. So also will be the word that I speak — it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.

Every time God wants to do something, He sends His Word. God uses words to build us, our businesses, families, etc. and so, we need to take His Word seriously if we are to go far with Him.

However, much God has a part to play, you too have a part and God can not do your portion. You have to read, meditate, and study the Word such that the Holy Spirit finds something within you to work with for your good. God doesn’t function outside His Word. John 14:26, John 1:1

Acts 20:32 “So now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God and to the WORD OF HIS GRACE, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Everything you need to build requires materials and the same applies to  Spiritual things; you need God’s Word to build your business, family, career, etc.

God doesn’t use everything that we read but you must ensure that the Word is in your spirit such that the Holy Spirit finds what to use when He comes. 1 Samuel 17:40

2 Peter 1:19 KJV We have also a MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts.

God’s Word is not a lie, it is real. You may doubt the preacher but not God’s Word because it is the surest word of prophecy (written Word of God) that was inspired by the Holy Spirit; hold on to it until the day dawn.

Hebrews 4:12 (AMPC) For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power…

There is a word that God speaks and what He has already spoken; What God has spoken – the written Word, is the light that you hold on at that particular time and as you do, God speaks to you. That is why Romans 10:17 speaks of two hearings; the first hearing is the written Word and the second hearing is the quickening of your spirit. Psalms 62:11

It is a call to all of us to program ourselves to read, meditate, and study the Word. Begin with what you love most and let it lead you to a point of addiction to the Word of God until you fall in love with the Word.
