FAITH ~ BELIEVING GOD’S WORD

Jul 9, 2024

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Faith is simply obedience to God’s Word; both the spoken and the written Word.

We need to trust God and take Him at His Word. So we must labour to put His Word in our spirits: study, read and meditate on the Word until it dominates your spirit for you to walk in the God kind of success and prosperity.

Isaiah 51:1-2
Abraham and Sarah serve as our template of God’s faithfulness. They took God at His Word until it found manifestation in their lives.

Remember, God’s method is His Word. Any man or woman who does not believe the Word of God cannot see His hand at work in their lives because God is only accountable to His Word. (Hebrews 11:6)

All the spiritual activities we engage in be it fasting, prayer, giving, etc, are all to function within the perimeter of God’s Word. His Word remains the primary path through which He makes His agenda known to us.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is THE WORD OF GOD;

God’s Word is the sword of the Spirit. That means the Spirit of God is helpless without the Word: He uses the Word to bring whatever you are trusting Him for (healing, change, increase, etc) in your life.

Romans 10:17
The Word creates the faith with which we are able to partake, receive, and realize that which Jesus Christ paid for and helps us in manifesting it. Faith only comes by the Word.

Hebrews 4:2
The generation of Israelites who were delivered from Egypt to the promised land never walked into it because they heard the Word but did not mix it with faith.

It is not enough for you to hear the promises of God, you must have the faith to receive, believe, and walk with the Word until it manifests.

Luke 8:5-7
In the parable of the sower, the grains that fell on both the wayside and the rock yielded nothing because the soil was not dealt with. The destiny that God ordained for you requires good soil which is your heart.

Deal with everything in your heart that you know might prevent the Word from being fulfilled in your life. Work with the Holy Spirit to create the right environment such that the Word can bear fruit and find manifestation in your life.

Romans 4:18-20… [19]And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

[20]He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

There was no way in the natural that Abraham and Sarah could give birth but they exalted God’s Word above the natural circumstances.

That is what faith does, it does not deny facts but it exalts God’s Word above them. Just like Abraham, you too believe God’s word above your situation.

Believing God doesn’t mean the thing will happen immediately: Abraham and Sarah held on the Word for years until it found expression in their lives (Genesis 21:1-2).

Isaiah 55:11, Genesis 21:6
Do not allow your environment to swallow you up; hold onto that Word because in it is the faith to bring fulfillment. No matter how long it takes, believe the Word: Stay, walk and live in faith because it is the hand that delivers what God has accomplished for you.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
