The Holy Spirit is challenging us to step up our faith for more of God in all areas of our lives.

Ephesians 4.11-12 [11] And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, [12] for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

Jesus gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers so that we may experience growth.

The need for growth is a must for all of us but growth alone doesn’t yield much; we need to exercise our spiritual muscles in addition to growth.

Remember, we are at different levels of growth and it is the Holy Spirit that prescribes the particular diet that is needed by a family depending on the assignment they have. That is why fathers (spiritual) spend time in fellowship such that they get the specific diet for their family.

1Corinthians 4.15

We can have many teachers for the sake of learning but few fathers. We must know where we belong and abide there and the heavens will traffic to us whatever we need through that place.

This is our season and the heavens have prescribed for us a meal (exercising our faith); what we are meant to feed on at this particular time is the subject of faith.

Heaven is intending to do something with us, let us rally along that line. We must know what we are feeding on and stay on course.

Let us take the example of Jesus;

John.5.19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

Luke 22:40 – When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

In this kingdom, we copy and duplicate what we see. Whatever Jesus used to see was from the place of prayer and fellowship; we must make prayer a lifestyle if we want to see and as He shows us, we then take a step of doing.

It is at that point that faith kicks in and causes us to do (duplicate) what we have seen.

1 John 5.14-15 [14] Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. [15] And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Faith begins primarily when God speaks a word; it may be to you as an individual or as a family. There is a given word you know; things that Jesus has availed to us in the spirit and the actualization of walking into those things is through faith.

In this kingdom, we go to the place of fellowship with what Jesus has already done for us but as we do that, there are specific prescriptions (instructions) that may come to us and it is that knowing that stirs up our faith and causes us to work (act) that we may experience the results.

Isaiah 51:2, Genesis 13:14-17

Abraham was fellowshipping with God and it was at that place that God was training him to see. After Abraham had seen, he had to walk in the land and cover the whole length which represented his works of faith.

Acts.13.22 – And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

We have all been designed differently and there is a particular work that we are meant to do.

Access to our spirits is not only what we hear but also what we see. Both hearing and seeing give access to our spirits and that causes us to have faith.

1 Samuel 17

The challenge of Goliath had overwhelmed the Israelites but David had a certain kind of confidence that the others didn’t; David had an understanding of the weapons that he was going to use and he also had an understanding of the covenant that God had made with the children of Israel (Deuteronomy 28:17).

As long as we keep standing prostate and walk on our knees, we shall experience all that is in the covenant. We need to obey our portion of the covenant, stay at the altar and when we do that, God shall as well do His portion.

The walk of faith doesn’t start from nowhere, it has a beginning part and one of them is the promises that God has given to us as we pray about them, He will give us the specific directions and instructions that we need to take which will cause us to take the necessary action (work) because faith will have kicked in.
