Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, 16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles,…

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Our lives have already been planned for by God. Therefore, the Christian life is a journey of discovery of the things God already planned for us and then we work it out. This is where you and I find fulfillment.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

The frustrations and disappointments that many find themselves in are because we do not walk in the course that God has ordained for our lives. You cannot put a a square peg in a round hole, it doesn’t fit, and neither is your life. You can be successful at the wrong thing yet it is not God’s plan for your life.

After giving your life to Jesus, the most important thing is to discover why you are here- a divine purpose. That is the key to living a life of fulfilment.

Genesis 11:4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

The world is all about people making for themselves a name. But in the midst of this, people are losing everything because God has never brought us here on earth to make for ourselves a name. We are here to live for Him.

The joy, the peace, and the satisfaction are found in living for Him. Whatever enterprise you are in; the talents, gifting, and diverse graces God has given us is for using them for Him, to employ them in His service.

Unfortunately, those who have not yielded themselves to God will take the gifts and talents given to them by God and use them to promote the devil’s agenda yet each of us will stand before God and account for the gifts and talents given to us for the fulfillment of His purpose.

Hebrews 12:26-27 [26], (Matthew 7:24-28).

Anything that is not founded and initiated by God will fall apart.

The foundation is one and that is Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 3:10-11). Christ is the Word; the Word of God. Therefore, what you are building, whether marriage, ministry, business, or career, are you building it on the Word God has given or is it something you just come up with?

Matthew 6:9-10 [9] In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. [10] Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We are a colony of Heaven on earth; in other words, you are supposed to take Heaven and bring it on the earth. You are not an initiator; you respond to that which God ticks upon your heart. You are not your own, you belong to God. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Is this how you are living your life? Are you sure it is God who is in charge of your life? I challenge you to check yourself.

God can only lead, guide, direct, provide, protect, and preserve only that which He has initiated. He led the Israelites because they were His redemptive people. (Exodus 13:21-22). Who is leading you? Whose fire and cloud are you following?

This is the year of Better Things, but this will only count on your total submission to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
