DISCERNING TIMES AND SEASONS

Jun 28, 2023

Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

There are two very powerful seasons in the life of any believer; the planting and harvest seasons. It is during the harvest season that the predators show up to steal crops that are ripe and this time demands a lot of alertness.

We need to understand the season we are in now. Whenever you see an increased activity of the enemy in your life, it is because the hour of the harvest has arrived and he (the enemy) wants to steal your harvest. So, you cannot afford to slumber.

I pray that God will give you the stamina, insight and strength in your inner man to fight everything that has come to steal what is ripe in your life.

Psalms 102:13 You will arise [and] have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.

You need to do what it takes to take advantage of this favored time that God has brought upon your life. Stay in the presence of God, do not function ordinarily, be sensitive, quick to obey, and follow every instruction that comes from God.

John 5:1-3 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep [Gate] a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.

A multitude missed their deliverance because they were used to one method of receiving healing; the stirring of the water. Jesus, the chief healer was standing in their midst but nobody reached out to Him. Their season passed while they watched because they did not discern that God can choose how and when to work.

Out of this multitude, only one man that had no helper received his healing from Jesus because he discerned the season. (John 5:5-8)

May the Holy Spirit help you to become sensitive. Don’t let the cycle pass you by because you will have no one to blame but yourself.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
