DIMENSIONS OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Nov 30, 2023

John 14:30-31[30] I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. [31] But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

Is there anything in your life that belongs to the devil? Sin is of the devil, if he can locate it in your life, then he has legal rights to attack you. But our God is a just and merciful God. This is why you should not toil with sin; do not open up yourself to the enemy by living a life of compromise.

The laws of God are there to protect us. This is how He shows us His love by regulating our lives. A believer whose life is not governed by the law is a cousin of Lucifer. You need to have an authority in your life that can restrain you. Therefore, you need to be under authority (Matthew 8:9).

The Dimensions of Spiritual Warfare

  1. The Mind

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

The greatest spiritual welfare for a believer is a change of mind. No matter how many devils are cast from you, if your mind is not properly aligned, it is a matter of time and those demons will return because you have exposed yourself to the enemy. The teaching of the Word is the greatest way to bring deliverance to the body of Christ. (John 8:32)

One of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is to remind us, but what will He remind you of if you have nothing in your spirit? (John 14:26) The Word of God must be so strong in you that you ooze the Word. Whoever has your mind has you.

  1. The Flesh

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Living a life of purity is very important; restrain yourself because you have the fruit of self-control. If you feel like abusing somebody, you can restrain yourself.

Numbers 23:19-20 [19] “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? [20] Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.

God is so consistent, every time doubt raises in your heart, doubt yourself. Let the Word of God rule your life, thinking, and feelings. God and Angels go wherever God’s Word is practiced.

Rebellion attracts sin in our lives just as king Saul sat on the throne rejected for thirty years. You can be in ministry; things are working but you are rejected: no longer a servant of God. You cannot be dealing with rebellion and deliverance at the same time.

Witchcraft is empowered by iniquity and wickedness. (Numbers 23:21) Have nothing that belongs to the devil and you can carry out self-deliverance.

Ephesians 4:26-27 [26] “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, [27] nor give place to the devil.

It is permitted to get angry but do not sin. Anger is an opening for the enemy to ruck havoc. Noah, in his ager (temporary madness) cursed his son (Genesis 8:24-25). This is not the will of God; for He has given us authority to build and not destroy.

Do not give the devil a foothold; this can be given either by you or by someone else. The good news is that it can be erased.

Repentance is very key in clearing your flesh that you may be clean and the devil has nothing on you. (Numbers 14:18)

Malachi 3:1-2 “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts. [2] “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap.

When the Messenger shows up, he comes to purify and clean. We must ask for the refiner’s fire to purify and burn every iniquity and purge our sin.
