There is a heart posture a man can sustain to always attract the help of God.

Matthew 5:3&6 [3] ” Blessed [are] the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [6] Blessed [are] those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

The Spirit of God is drawn to constant thirst, hunger and strong longings. That is why it is vital to never allow yourself to get to a place where you think you have it all.

Loss of hunger and thirst for God is a sign that sickness has entered into your Spirit.

2 Kings 4:5-6 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought [the vessels] to her; and she poured [it] out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “[There is] not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

Oil kept multiplying as long as there were empty vessels in the widow’s house but when all the vessels were filled, the oil ceased to flow.

Could this be the reason as to why there is no more life flowing through your life; health, business, career, among others?

Could you be stuck in the old, very full and have left no room for the more that, God wants to do with you?

Brethren, there is more than what we have been told, read or seen because no one can exhaust God. The eyes of the Lord are looking for such vessels; the ones that desire, long and thirst for more of Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing [I do,] forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.

Thank God for yesterday’s miracle and manna but there is today. We, therefore, cannot be content with what has already happened when God has got too much to be done in us and with us.

Stir up your Spirit not to settle where you are. God wants to do much more in and with you but the condition is, genuine hunger, thirst and the longing within.

The worst thing that can ever happen to anyone is the ‘arrival mentality’ that has stagnated ministries, churches and lives of people.

I pray that each one of us will always sustain a heart that continuously hunger, thirsts and longs for more of God, no matter the level that God has used you.

Haggai 2:9 ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts…

Throughout generations, God has made His glorious manifestations available on demand. The demand we place on God determines the level of glory we shall see.

You can choose to be like the sons of the prophets who were satisfied with what they knew or be like Elisha who not only knew but also pursued the anointing. (2 Kings 2:7-13)

There are always two camps: those who know and do nothing and those who know and pursue it. Choose where to be and remember that it’s your hunger that works for you (Proverbs 16:26).
