The Lord has bestowed upon us an expensive and awesome responsibility to legislate over this land—to dictate the direction this nation must go—and He has given us the grace to do so.
Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver, The LORD is our King; He will save us.
The Judge is the Judiciary, the Lawgiver represents Parliament, and the King represents the Executive. The Lord is saying, “I am the government.” That is why He said, “I will build My church– ecclesia, which is a legislative body, and the gates of hell shall not be able to prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)
The Church is the salt in every nation. Throughout Scripture, God uses salt to purify and preserve. Therefore, when you see a nation going down, it means the salt has lost its saltiness. But God loves this nation, Uganda, and He is giving us another chance to possess the gates.
As He places us on these gates, always remember that we are not here to serve our own interests. As long as you want to see the provision, the backing, and the help of God, you must have the vision of God. When we have the vision of God in our hearts, it empowers our commitment and gives more weight to our prayer.
Wherever God has planted you, whether you are a shopkeeper, a housemaid, or whatever position you occupy, see yourself as someone God has planted there to bring His will and purpose into that place.
Matthew 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Jesus physically left the earth, and therefore the Church, as His body, has been given authority to exercise His authority on His behalf. What Jesus is supposed to do must be done by the Church.
Heaven is looking to you and me. We cannot live for ourselves because the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are banking on the Church to ensure heaven finds expression on the earth.
2 Corinthians 5:15: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
We lost our lives the day we accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour. The life you live after giving your life to Jesus is no longer your life but His. If we want to see the baptism of heaven, this must be the heartbeat that carries us through in all we do.
Serving God has a level where it becomes highly sacrificial. When you enter that dimension, you can never look back because you have put in too much. Peter told Jesus, “We have left everything.” And Jesus said that no man who has left family, children, and everything for Him, for the Kingdom and for the Gospel, shall miss his reward in this life and in the life to come.
I hear the Lord calling us as a Church to a place of higher levels of consecration and sanctification.
Leviticus 6:10-13
The sacrifices of yesterday have become ashes, and the ashes must be carried away from the altar because if they remain, they will hinder the altar from catching fire. That is why some people are not catching fire no matter how much God tries.
Every day demands a new sacrifice; you must lay a new sacrifice on the altar every morning. If you want your altar to keep the fire, two things must always be placed on that altar every day: new wood and sacrifice.
There has to be a word for every day to keep your altar burning. Revelation in your heart fuels your spirit and strengthens the fire. When you lack revelation, your fire goes down because revelation is like putting on new fuel. (Matthew 4:4, Psalm 19:12)
Many have their altars full of the ashes of two years ago, two months ago, or three weeks ago. Your altar is not clean.
What does it mean to remove the ashes? To sanctify and consecrate yourself daily. Every day our level of consecration must keep on being upgraded. The authority you carry in life is correlated to your level of consecration.
Ask the Lord to begin to show you the ashes of your life—things that have been burnt, but you have not removed from your life.
2 Timothy 2:20-21, 2 Chronicles 16:9
God is looking for vessels who are dedicated, committed, and sold out to His cause.
Before Israel entered the next level and took Jericho, there had to be circumcision, sanctification, washing, cleansing, and purification. Before we enter the next level, we must be separated, cleansed, and consecrated. (Joshua 3:5)
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
