CONDITION FOR WALKING IN GOD’S WILL

Sep 15, 2025

Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the LORD, “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

God’s will for us is good, perfect, and full of hope. But His promises don’t automatically fulfil themselves in our lives—we must cooperate with Him through prayer and faith. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” reminding us that while God’s will is uncontested in heaven, it faces resistance on earth.

From the Garden of Eden, the enemy has sought to oppose God’s plan for humanity. One of his strongest weapons is disappointment. Like the children of Israel who rejoiced in leaving Egypt but quickly grew discouraged at the sight of obstacles, we too can lose heart when faced with challenges.

But we are not without hope. Christ has risen, becoming our Living Hope. His resurrection assures us that He never disappoints. Our battles, struggles, and even seasons of waiting are proof that God has entrusted us with strength greater than what we face. Hope in Christ anchors our souls, keeping us steadfast in the face of resistance.

Pearl of Wisdom: When you are confronted with discouragement or frustration, run into the presence of God—there you will find strength, peace, and renewed hope.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the assurance that Your thoughts toward me are good, to give me a future and a hope. Strengthen me to pray Your will into reality in my life. Guard my heart against disappointment and discouragement. Lord Jesus, be my Living Hope and anchor in every season. Help me to trust that what You placed in me is greater than what confronts me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
