We need to develop a constant consciousness of God’s presence within us, if we are to attract and enjoy the help of God.

Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

God told Moses and the children of Israel; “My Presence will go before you, to lead and guide you day and night.”

Along the way, the Israelites disobeyed God and He declared a judgement on them; that none from that evil generation would enter the promised land. When Moses told these words to the children of Israel, they rose to go and fight but they were defeated because God was not among them. (Numbers 14:39-42)

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you [are] the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Everything we do outside God amounts to nothing. He is everything we want Him to be in every moment of need.

He is a healer where there is a need for healing, a provider where there is a need for provision and wisdom where there is a need for wisdom. However, we must live in constant awareness of who God is and His presence in our lives, to draw of Him. This calls for a lifestyle of humility, brokenness and contrition of spirit.

Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

There is something about brokenness, humility and contrition that God can never overlook.

When Ahab’s death was pronounced, he was broken enough to humble himself by fasting and in so doing, he attracted the attention of heaven and God postponed his judgement. (1 Kings 21:27-29)

This is a call for each one of us to draw nearer to God in all humility because this is what prompts God to unveil Himself to us. The closer we are to God, the more broken we become, which is what attracts heavenly help.

Jesus demonstrated this to us by being able to draw a hundred per cent of heavenly help because He lived in a state of knowing and acknowledging that He could do nothing on His own. (John 5:19)

Have you arrived at this place where you are only governed by His instructions?

I pray that God will help each one of us to embrace this call and live a life that honours Him with a constant consciousness of His presence.

Revelation 4:11 (KJV) … for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Our fulfilment and satisfaction in this life can only be attained by living a life that pleases God.

The whole plan for redemption was that we may conform to the Image of God’s dear Son; to look like Jesus. (Romans 8:29).

That is why God invested Himself in us in the person of the Holy Spirit, to do the sanctifying work within us daily.

So we adhere and yield to His instructions, commandments and convictions till that day when we look like Jesus.

John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. [2] Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

When we yield to the Holy Spirit, He does the pruning work within us so that we may bear more fruit. God doesn’t want us to settle for less but to keep increasing until we are like Him. (Matthew 13:1-9, Genesis 1:28)

God has installed capacity in us, that can bring forth more than we have today. However, the key determinant is yielding to the Holy Spirit more and more daily.

Romans 12:2
The best that God has put in your spirit can never find expression eternally until your mind has been renewed and aligned with His Word, cause, and purpose.

Conformity to the image of Jesus Christ is the way we ought to live our lives so that the Spirit can align us to that dimension where everything inside us can flow and be a blessing. This should be our daily goal.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, these are sons of God.

This Christian life is not attained by the flesh but by yielding to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is what demonstrates our sonship.

There is more He expects from us, so when you see the finger of God pruning away certain excesses in your life; drawing you away from certain relationships or things and drawing you to His presence for a certain time, it is all geared towards you bringing forth more fruit and glorifying the Father. (John 15:8)

Every dream, prophecy or vision God has given you is to help you come to a place where you are conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. A day will come and we shall be like Him. (1 John 3:2)

How much transformation has taken place in your life between January and now?

How much has the Holy Spirit been able to circumcise out of your life? Has there been a change in your life since last year?

Check yourself; the anger, temper, jealousy, negativity and whatever works of the flesh that stand in the way of the Spirit of God and ask Him to help you.

Deuteronomy 8:14-15 Who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, … that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end

God will always bring us to a place where we are tested, not to fail us but to show us where we are in this journey so that we may cry out for more of Him.

When He reveals your heart to you, break down and ask for forgiveness. Do not start arguing, questioning the Holy Spirit or going into defense mode because this is the heart posture that will attract the help of God and draw you to be more like Him (Isaiah 66:2)

The ultimate goal of redemption is not for us to have enormous wealth (nothing wrong with it) but to look like Jesus.

This is why we were given the five-fold ministry to mature to being one with Jesus. However, there has to be a desire and pursuit in your spirit to be like Jesus. (Acts 4:13, Matthew 6:33)

Joshua 3.5 And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”

Whenever God wants to do something wonderful with you, He will require you to consecrate or sanctify yourself (Separate yourself unto God).

God has been persistently speaking to us as a ministry regarding consecration but there are individual consecrations He requires each one of us to honour. (1 Kings 13.14-24)

God will separate you from many things, places, and people depending on what He wants to do with you.

John 14:30 (AMPC) I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]

No matter how much noise Satan made, he had nothing on Jesus so he could not take advantage of Him. Satan’s number one weapon against us is sin. For this reason, Jesus demands us to stay away from things that belong to the devil; not for His good, but for our good.

Read Romans 7:18-25, 8:1-2

The things of God are desired in the inward man (spirit) whereas the law of sin operates in the flesh. The key to winning the battle against sin and the flesh is having a ‘ set mind’ against sin. (Romans 7:25)

If you can subject your mind, then the body will follow. That is why the call to a believer is to be transformed by the renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2).

2 Timothy 2:20-21 [20]But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.      [21]Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Some people are vessels of dishonour. If we want to see the hand of God manifesting in our lives, we must cleanse ourselves from the things God has been demanding of us so that we can become vessels of honour in his house.

What is that thing the Holy Spirit has been speaking to you about but you’re still holding onto? The little foxes (gossip, telling lies, etc.) always spoil the vine (Song of Songs 2:15). These can’t be removed by pulling down or binding but by repenting and separation (Walking away from these people, environments and actions).

Hebrews 12:2-4 [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. [4] You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.

Whenever you are fighting sin, see how Jesus fought because He is our model and we are in Him. He was tempted like we are but He endured and was found without sin. He sympathizes with our weaknesses because, in moments of weakness, He avails us with well-timed grace to make sure we rise above what we are fighting. You don’t need to depend on yourself but on Him. (Hebrews 4.15-16 AMPC).

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

The day you welcomed the Holy Spirit in your life, a new law (the law of the Spirit of Life which convicts and protects) now operates in you:  The danger is when you continue to break the law and insist on the old way, then you’ll become insensitive.

1 Corinthians 6:8-12

You are a new creation and have been washed; therefore, whatever you engage in must support the new life that you have entered into. Before engaging in anything, ask yourself whether it makes you a better Christian.

Make up your mind not to live a life of sin, wrestle against it. You have what it takes (the grace) to handle and overcome temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13, Heb 12:4).

There are certain things you do not need the voice of God, but let your integrity (Your set mind against sin) guide you. (Psalms 41:12).

1 Peter 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

By the blood of Jesus Christ I have been redeemed, bought out of bondage and slavery to satan and his system. I am now God’s property therefore no force of evil or darkness has any right or claim over me.
Every lying voice making claims over my life you are silenced forever through precious blood of Jesus.

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Through the blood of the cross of Jesus Christ I have been forgiven. Every voice of guilt and condemnation rising against me are therefore rendered powerless and inconsequential in my life. Shame and fear exit my life from henceforth in Jesus’s name.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Through the blood of Jesus I walk continuously in the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. No sin of the flesh or the spirit can cling on me. I apply the blood of Jesus on all my senses and live ever under this cleansing flow of the blood from things I know and don’t know.

Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Through the blood of Jesus, I subject my mind to the purging blood of Jesus Christ. Every thought, memory, imagination and reasoning not consistent with the word of God in my mind you are from now scraped out of my mind. I have the mind of Christ and therefore I think and reason like Christ. The voice self, satan and the world is silenced by the voice of the blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
When God looks at you He sees Jesus. You were made just like Jesus

Through the blood of Jesus Christ, I have been justified. I am a new creation, the old me is non existent. I have no past and all my now and tomorrow is Jesus Christ.
All demonic covenants in my foundation no longer applies to this new specie of me. Every ancestral claim over my life is null and void. Through the blood of Jesus I defeat all those claims and I enjoy my new life and liberty in Christ.

Numbers 11:4,10-15
Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased.

The nation of the children of Israel used to attack and complain to Moses every time a need arose. They never appreciated what God was doing for them.

Numbers 11:18-20 …Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat. You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days, but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils…

Moses was a man who saw wonders God had done in Egypt but he thought God could not give meat to six thousand people. He thought God would have to kill many cows to feed them with meat for a whole month ( Numbers 11:21-22 ).

Numbers 11:23 And the Lord said to Moses, “Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.”

God’s hand is not shortened, He will show to you whatever He has spoken the same way He showed to Moses.

You don’t need to see and know-how but rather believe that He is gonna do it (Numbers 11:31).

Luke 1.45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

There is no hopeless case with God, keep hoping and don’t give up because His timing is always the best.

Romans 4:18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed,…

John 11:4-17 When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was. So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days.

God is aware of everything happening to you. Mary and Martha must have been heartbroken but Jesus was aware when Lazarus died.

Jesus wanted them to keep holding onto the first word He gave them that the sickness would not end in death.

John 11:21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord if You had been here, my brother would not have died.

Mary worshipped Jesus but in pain and disappointment thinking He was late but her worship provoked Jesus to do something John 11:32

John 11:34 And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.”

Mary and Martha only had faith in Jesus for healing. Their faith died and was buried when Lazarus die but Jesus walked in to keep His word (Isiah 55:11).

Always welcome (worship) Jesus even in pain and confusion, because what will come out of your worship will amaze you.

John 11:39-43 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

What you think of nullity is a divine setup of God’s glory in your family, nations, etc. Lazarus’ resurrection was the most outstanding miracle in the ministry of Jesus for three and a half years.

Only Mary and Martha would have known if Jesus had healed Lazarus but an entire city knew Jesus because of Lazarus’ resurrection. That’s when the Pharisees and Sadducees started planning to hang him on the cross. ( John 11:46- )

God has a strategy. Your clan will follow you to serve your God when He is through with you.

Just hold on and continue believing even in confusion and disappointment. Everything God told you will come to pass.

We serve a prayer-answering God. Keep your eyes on Jesus in whatever you are going through.

There are precautions that the Lord requires you to fulfill before walking in the manifestation of various things you are praying and believing Him for in your life.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him,] for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Your seeking must be backed up with belief that He is, and He can help and carry you through.

Exodus 3:13-14 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, [when] I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What [is] His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”

You ought to have the boldness, confidence, and courage that He is without a double mind for a double-minded man receives nothing from the Lord. James 1:7-8

Mark 9:17-24… Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things [are] possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”…..

It was the father’s unbelief that was causing a lack of the flow of deliverance and healing to his son.

Mark 9:28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”

The disciples had unbelief in their hearts which hindered the move of God’s power. That’s why they failed to cast out the devil.

God is not moved by sentiments, tears, or emotions but faith.

You only have to believe that He can turn your story around and open a new chapter for you because He does all things well Mark 7:37.

Romans 10:17 So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

God responds to the faith of men. He requires you to be single-eyed and look to His word.

Psalms 62:11 God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power [belongs] to God.

There is always the next voice of God.
