It is my prayer that the Lord will give each one of us in the body of Christ a revelation of His love because when it is captured, nothing in this life can move you

whether good or bad.

Romans 8:35,38-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?[38] For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, [39] nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul captured the revelation of God’s love; that is why he gave all his life. It takes revelation for men to pay prices because it is love that makes sacrifice easy.

We fight and struggle to do things for God because we have not captured the revelation of His love but the day we get it, we shall discover that what we are doing for Him is not enough.

Luke 7:37-38 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, [38]and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.

This woman captured the revelation of Jesus’ love even before He was crucified; she caused everyone in the house to murmur with what she did including the religious men but Jesus responded to them;

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Luke 7:47

This woman knew who she was. She did not deserve Jesus’ love; that is why she responded by pouring out her love in return, something that nobody did.

People (missionaries) crossed continents, risked their health to spread the gospel and men like Paul, Peter, Thomas, and Stephen went all the way because they captured the revelation of the love of God. They did what they did as a way to pay back.

The day we capture the revelation of the love of God, we will discover that even what we are doing is not enough. Your service should be a response to the love that He has shown you because there is nothing you can do in response except live for Him: that is the reasonable sacrifice.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Presenting yourself as a living sacrifice is not a forced thing but it comes as a result of reasoning and understanding what Jesus did for you.

Much as Jesus paid the price for your salvation, your love for Him must be out of your free will.

1 Corinthians 6:17 [17]But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

For many of us, our money, houses, and lives are ours and yet we claim to be married to Jesus. If you love Him, you will own nothing because the only way you can respond to His love is to give yourself and to serve Him freely and willingly.

That is what makes men go beyond their means just to appreciate God for His love.

Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Every activity we engage in for the Master should flow from the place of love because the Lord Jesus loves to be loved.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will give us a revelation of God’s love and also help us to upgrade our love walk with the Master.
