BELIEVE THE FAITHFULNESS OF OUR GOD

Mar 12, 2025

2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

We serve a God who never fails; this is our confidence, faith, boldness, and courage. Therefore, we cannot be moved or shaken. This gives us surety and certainty of answers to our prayers, as the scriptures show us that those who trust God’s Word are never put to shame.

In Genesis 15, when Abraham was overwhelmed with fear and doubt, thinking he had no heir, God assured him that he would have one. However, Abraham laughed, seeing it as impossible. (Genesis 17:16-17)

Genesis 18:11-14 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

13 And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, “Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Sarah’s response was the same as Abraham’s when the Lord appeared to them and He said she would bring forth a child—Sarah laughed.

Nature tells us that at a hundred years of age, you are past childbearing age. Abraham and Sarah were no longer carrying a seed and egg inside them respectively as they were well stricken in years. Their laughter was signifying “No” to God, but God looked beyond their incapacity, infirmity, limitation, and laughter until Isaac (Laughter) came forth.

Romans 4:16-21

Abraham and Sarah did not deny that they were aged but chose to believe God. Abraham hoped against hope without wavering at the promise of God, even through unbelief, but he was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Could you be seeking God with us and you have given birth to “Ismail” thinking God’s Word will not come to pass? Come back and believe God; your “Isaac” will come forth because God’s Word never fails.

Luke 1:30-38

Mary understood that knowing a man was the only way a woman could conceive and give birth to a child, just as Abraham and Sarah knew that a child could only be born when a man and woman were of childbearing age. However, God intervened at a time when they were written off.

Mary did not question the Angel about the impossibility but only asked how possible it would be. You may be asking yourself the same question where nature, life, or science have written you off. The answer hinges on you having faith and allowing the Holy Spirit to find expression in your life.

We bow our knees before God, trusting Him for the things that are impossible with men and not for things that are possible with them. All we have to do is believe and trust Him. It may look like it’s over, but believe God.

God never fails. You will not be the first person God will let down; therefore, keep trusting and believing Him while holding on and laying everything on the horn of the altar until your Isaac comes forth.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
