BEING KINGDOM MINDED

May 26, 2026

God carries different offices and titles, but today we look at one: His Kingship.

1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God…

God’s Kingship did not begin in time; it is eternal. When God planned in eternity, He factored man into His divine purpose so that somewhere along life’s journey, man would be able to do what God was supposed to do.

Instead of merely calling the children of the King (God) princes and princesses, God made them kings to share in His rulership because they were the cream of His creation.

However, two kings could not reign in the same kingdom. Therefore, the only way God could involve man in kingship was by creating another domain and entrusting him with authority over it.

Genesis 1:26-28 Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have DOMINION…’ So God created man in His own image… Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion…’”

Genesis 2:2 — “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.”

Dominion means a king’s domain —God was giving man sovereign authority over the earth. To give man a picture of this responsibility, He placed him in Eden.

Adam became king of the earth. He was given authority over creation, though all power still belonged to God. Therefore, for God to accomplish anything on the earth, He desired partnership with man to establish His will through him.

Genesis 8:8-12

Just as the dove Noah sent out returned the first two times because it found nowhere to rest, but did not return the third time after finding a resting place, God also found rest in man and chose to work through him on the earth.

So, after God created man, He found a resting place through whom He could fulfil His purposes on the earth. Although we are kings with authority, we remain subjects under God, the King of kings, who owns all things, knowing that God placed us on the earth not for our own agenda, but to fulfil His divine purpose through our lives.

Luke 11:2 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

God’s design is for His kingdom to come to the earth. He placed man here as His representative so that whatever is established in heaven may also be established on earth.

Therefore, the wisest thing we can do is discover God’s will in every assignment He gives us, because where His will is, His provision follows.

We are God’s responsibility. As long as we pursue His kingdom, He will lift our heads for Kingdom influence. Our primary reason for seeking the Lord and desiring elevation must be the advancement of His kingdom wherever He has placed us. When God elevates us, people should see Him through our lives. (Matthew 6:33)

Matthew 7:21-23

Many people think this scripture applies only to pastors, yet all of us will give an account for our lives. Jesus told them to depart from Him because they used His anointing for their own agendas rather than God’s purpose. In the same way, many people today use their professions, careers, businesses, marriages, and positions for themselves rather than for God’s Kingdom.

The moment we are born again, we become sacred, and everything God has entrusted to us also becomes sacred. God intends to use every area of our lives to promote and expand His kingdom on the earth.

God is looking for men and women who are willing to do His will and bring heaven to earth. We are kings on the earth; therefore, we must be kingdom-minded—using our positions, influence, and resources to promote God’s agenda, His will, and His purpose. As long as this becomes our passion, God will elevate us and supply every need according to His riches and glory.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.

PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
