God has been speaking to us consistently as he gives us a word to walk in but we have a part to play in what He has said He will do for us. If we do not play our part, He will do it with someone else. (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Isaiah 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

Despite the evil that is rising, God promised to send His glory and for this reason, the former and the latter rain will be poured, causing us to operate in a higher level of authority that has not been seen before to bring every evil hand down (Joel 2:23).

Remember, the enemy also has power but lacks authority. So, if we have authority, we can bring his powers down.

We are in the season of breakthroughs and dominion so that we may teach the ways of God to all, including principalities (Micah 4:1-2).

Exodus 7:1-7 So the LORD said to Moses: “See, I have made you [as] God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet…

All power belongs to the supreme God. So the authority we have as believers is delegated.

The enemy has illegal power, so we need a higher power to diminish his power to nothing. That is why we must submit to authority in order to be effective because regiment authority comes from God.

Psalms 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

Genesis 2:5 before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;

We are stewards on earth and our reward is based on our faithfulness: that is the parameter of authority you have been granted.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Read Philippians 2:8-11

It shows us the authority that Jesus was given and it is the same authority that He entrusted to us.

In Daniel 10, the principalities had stopped the glorious man; they exercised their power wrongly which resulted in the dispatch of the higher authority that executed discipline.

This explains why we have to submit under authority because when our submission is full, we walk in a certain level of authority that will affect every area of our lives (James 4:7).
