ALIGNING OUR HEARTS TO HOST GOD

Oct 19, 2023

The secret for the kingdom of God is around this parable, if you can understand this parable of the sower, you will understand how the kingdom of God works.

Mark 4: 1-12

The soils represent your heart condition; This is a story of how different people’s hearts are in the church.

Fruitfulness in any area of your life is determined by the condition of your heart. It is the heart that matters most.

You can receive a powerful prophetic word but it fails to bring results because of your heart condition. So, it is not a guarantee that a word from the Lord will bring results in your life, your heart must be right

That is why instead of blaming people, we have to check on our hearts.

Even those with good hearts, there were diverse percentages (thirty, sixty, and a hundred). Your heart is the key to bringing the God kind of results in your life.

The heart can make the Word of God infective. As powerful as the word is, if it falls on the wrong heart, it cannot yield results.

You need to cry to God to work on your heart because if your heart is fixed everything will begin to work.

Some people are satisfied by thirty percent, as a church we are believing God to take each one of us and the entire generation to a hundred percent.

Is what you engaged in yielding a hundred percent? We cannot be contented; we must keep asking God to work on our hearts until our output is a hundred percent.

All issues of life; marriages, relationships, business partnerships, etc., falling apart are traced to the heart.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it [spring] the issues of life.

Your life is governed by your heart. How far you can go is determined by the state of your heart.

None of us is there but we are crying day and night for God to carry us there and perfect us.

We must cry out to God and ask the Holy Spirit to forgive us.

The heart is God’s centre of activity, not the head.  if you are wise you will pay attention to your heart, not the head.

The reason why David and Saul stood apart, is because; David had a broken and contrite heart while Saul had a hard heart.

God is drawn to people who are real, are you real or fake? God was drawn to David more than Saul yet David made more mistakes but he was always real in his heart.

We are being exposed to the same Word, but we are going to see different results.

John worked on his relationship with God that others didn’t do.

God loves each one of us equally but how near you are is up to you.

There are two things: Him being in us and us being in Him. The in-us factor is common to all of us but the other one is for you to determine.

If the word you have been hearing has not been bringing results, the problem is your heart.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

A pure heart means having the right attitude towards God and other people.

Jesus asked Peter three times “Do you love me”. God loves to be loved, He is tired of users (Luke 13:27)

The change of heart is not going to happen unless you spend quality time with God.

…, that they might BE WITH HIM and that He might send them out to preach, Mark 3:14 NKJV

When you spend time with Him, you begin to experience transformation without knowing. The more you stay with Him, the more you become like Him in your talking, doing, etc until you become His expression. (Proverbs 13:20 and John 1:1)

Transformation should be effortless. The more you look at Him, the more you become like Him. (Acts 3:14 and 2 Corinthians 3:18)

Psalms 63:1-3

David subjected himself to dry fasting and seeking the heart of God to behold His beauty. As you spend time with Him, His beauty becomes yours (Psalms 27:4 and Psalms 51:11-12)

Read Exodus 19:3-6

If God has you for Himself, nothing can have you. When He has you, whatever He adds to you can never control you. God wants you for Himself.

If God doesn’t own your heart, materialistic things will destroy you.

A journey of 11 days took them forty years because of their hardened hearts.

1 Samuel 16:1 Now the LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.”

Don’t pray for everything, some things are already rejected, first, get God’s counsel of what you are praying for.

David stood out because he always inquired of the Lord before he did anything (1samuel 23:2)

1 Samuel 16:6-8

Every time God looks at us, He looks at our hearts. That is why it’s wise to ask God to deal with you the way He sees you.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
