ACKNOWLEDGING GOD’S GRACE AND MERCY

May 28, 2024

Psalms 103:15-17 [As for] man, his days [are] like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. 17 But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children.

God’s dealing with us is hinged on His grace and mercy.

No matter how much God uses you or how famous/infamous you are, always have it at the back of your mind that man is like grass that withers and a flower that fades. (Isaiah 40:6-7)

Luke 12:16-20; This rich man planted his field, the field brought so much crop and he began to boast.

While he was still bragging of his harvest and the things he had, a voice came and said; “you foolish man, today your life shall be taken away”. (Luke 12:20)

This is how vulnerable we are. We do business with God out of His benevolent goodness, mercy and graciousness.

Lamentations 3:22 [Through] the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

We are nothing without God’s grace and mercy. We can stand and be used by God to bless his people because God has chosen to be merciful towards us.

God’s mercy is what gives us weight in His presence. The more we appreciate God’s grace and mercy, the greater His manifestation in our lives.

Luke 15:11-20
Mercy comes running after us in the person of Jesus, just as the Father of the prodigal son came running towards him.

He did not consider our filthiness, rebellion or unworthiness but mercy came, embraced and kissed us.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

The righteousness we put on is His for everything we have is Jesus’, so we can stand before the Master because of what He has given us.

1 Peter 4:18 Now [” If the righteous one is scarcely saved,] [Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”]

No man outside of Christ can find a way into the Kingdom of God because what brings us into this mercy and grace, is the blood of Jesus.

It is not our fasting, prayers, holiness or
righteousness, but His mercy and grace.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
