A PRAYER OF SURRENDER

Jan 5, 2024

DAY THREE OF FASTING

Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know the way of man [is] not in himself; [It is] not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Never has it ever been for a mortal man to direct his steps and for that reason, we are here tonight; help us Holy Spirit to live and walk in accordance with Your instructions.

I pray for grace to walk and run in obedience to Your ways. Draw us away from anything that is not within your will and plant an earnest desire for the things of God in our souls.

Free our hearts and souls from strange desires that contradict Your ways. Deliver our souls from appetites and pursuits that are not in line with Your purpose over our lives until only that which is of You finds expression through our bodies.

John 21:18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry [you] where you do not wish.”

As we seek Your face, Father, we lift our hands to let go of that which is of us and release ourselves to Your spirit so that Your wind may guide and carry us in all areas of our lives.

Let there be a captivation; an arrest within our souls so that we may be captives of your righteousness, holiness, purity, love, desire and longing.

Father diffuse Your virtues into our souls until every aspect of our imagination, thoughts and feelings are saturated with that which is of You.

Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Lord, we delight in you. Give us desires that are consistent with your word, our calling and the grace of God upon our lives.

Daddy, draw us to that place of making until our eyes are opened, ears unblocked and the veil over our hearts is removed so that we may see You for who You are.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.

PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
