Our Heavenly Father, we are blessed, honoured, and privileged to come before You. Lord, we bless You and give You worship. We celebrate Your goodness and Your favour, Lord.
We come by the blood, the protocol You instituted from Genesis. Father, we thank You for this access, that we can come before the throne of grace once again.
1 Kings 8:57-58 May the LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers.
Father, we declare that we will never tire or go back on that which You have decreed. Your face we will seek all the days of our lives. May You strengthen us to continue to stand and walk in that which You have called us to, seeking You continually.
Oh Jesus, You are our strength, our hope, our refuge, our hiding place, our high tower, our shield and our inheritance. It is You we desire and long for. Lord of You, we yearn to know more and more every day of our lives.
Master, we cannot want You without You. So we thank You for placing in us this deep longing to seek Your face and to call upon Your name. Thank You for inclining our hearts toward You and for stirring within us this hunger for Your presence.
We thank You for this work of grace written on the tablets of our hearts, the desire to know You, and that the fear of God continues to grow in us as we walk away from things, people, and activities that corrupt and contaminate us.
Acts 17:28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Our desire, Lord, is to live a separated life, sanctified and set apart for You. Father, we do our ministry in You, we do our families in You, and we do our careers and businesses in You. Lord, we find our satisfaction and fulfilment only in You, Jehovah. That is why we are here, with our eyes focused on You, our King of glory.
Throughout the Scriptures, everything You begin, You complete. Father, You will complete us; You will finish Your work in us.
We are here, and we remain in You. We keep holding on to You, and even when our grip weakens, Yours has never let go.
We thank You for this mercy and this grace, King of kings. We testify together with Your servant Paul that it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, nor of him who exerts natural strength, but of You, our King of glory.
Lamentations 5:21 Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; Renew our days as of old,
Father, it is You who works in us both to will and to do by Your Holy Spirit, turn us back to You and cause us to return to You. We give You all the glory and ascribe all the honour, all the blessing, all the glory, and all the power to You and to You alone.
As a body, as a church, we thank You for the wonders we see, for the transformation You are working in us, making us into Your image and likeness, Father. We thank You for the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit within us, and we continue to yield to Your transforming power.
Our desire, our longing, is that every passing day we become more and more like You, our Saviour. As David said, we shall be satisfied when we awake in Your likeness.
You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Reveal Yourself to the nations, Lord, as we yield our bodies to take our stand with You, and to walk and soar with You.
Amen.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
