A PRAYER FOR MORE OF GOD

Jun 11, 2025

John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Our Heavenly Father, we come to call upon Your Name, desirous and longing for more of You. What can we do without You, Lord? You remain the Vine, and we stay the branches. There is nothing we can do outside of You that holds eternal value.

Draw us, Father, to the virgin dimensions, furrowed grounds, and high places in You that we have never experienced before, which You have ordained for us.

Psalms 42:1-3 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say to me, ‘Where is your God?

Our Father, we are hungry and desirous to experience You. Show us Your face that we may walk in holiness, pleasing to You. Let the veil fall off our eyes, so that we may see well. Lord, we hunger and thirst for that which is heavenly.

Hear our cry, O Lord, and reveal Yourself to us as individuals, as a church, and as a generation.

Free our souls from the lower things of this world. Be our only desire, Lord; You are all we want, and there’s no one else.

We need Your help to fulfill our destiny; therefore, stir us to remain in the position that attracts Your help. We have no substitute; it’s only You we want. For this reason, we look to and call upon You, Jesus.

We therefore pray that You may magnify Yourself in our lives, in this house, in this nation, and in this generation, as we lift You high. You are the answer to our homes, families, universities, schools, churches, hospitals, and prisons.

Please draw us to that place where our hearts constantly need You. Amen.

Read Psalms 63.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
