A LIFE SUSTAINED BY THE THRONE OF GRACE

Jun 30, 2026

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God [which was] with me.

We are all products of His grace; it’s not of our works, abilities, or achievements. Everything we are and all we shall ever become is by and sustained by grace.

For every assignment, God supplies grace that empowers a believer to labour beyond their natural ability.

He customises His grace according to our need, but it is always found at the throne of grace. It may appear as wisdom, strength, health, favour, finances, provision, boldness, or any other divine supply necessary to accomplish God’s purpose.

Psalm 91:1, Hebrews 4:16

The throne of grace is the secret place of the Most High. It is not a place we occasionally visit, but where we dwell.

As the sparrow that builds its nest at the altar because it recognises its helplessness, so must we recognise that outside God’s presence, we are nothing and doomed.

At the throne of grace, there is a continuous exchange: God takes our weakness and gives us His strength.

As we continually abide there, we mount up with wings like eagles, run without growing weary, and walk without fainting because we are no longer spending our own strength—but spending God’s grace.

That’s why waiting upon the Lord is not an event or an occasion but a lifestyle.

Romans 9:10-13

We did not choose God because of our works; He chose us by His grace. Therefore, our greatest posture before Him must always be one of humility, brokenness, and total dependence. (Isaiah 66:2)

As we continually humble ourselves before God, we position ourselves for greater grace, and it is that grace that empowers us to fulfil every assignment He has entrusted to us.

Jesus came full of grace; He was given the Spirit without measure because He humbled Himself and remained in the secret place, thereby facilitating a continuous flow of God’s grace. (John 1:16, Philippians 2:5-8)

Whenever a believer, a ministry, or an assignment begins to decline, it is often because the measure of grace being drawn has diminished.

True success flows from abiding in Christ and continually drawing upon His grace. Anything built outside God’s presence is for ourselves, not for God. Outside of Christ, there is nothing of lasting value.

James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: [” God resists the proud,] [But gives grace to the humble.”]

Humility is not a gift; it is a discipline that must be intentionally cultivated. As we continually humble ourselves before God, He gives more grace. The posture of our hearts determines the measure of grace we receive.

A believer who learns to live within the atmosphere of God’s grace will continually overcome every challenge because grace will always triumph over the works of the enemy. (Romans 5:20)

May seeking God cease to be an obligation and become our lifestyle. May we continually dwell at the throne of grace, where we receive mercy, find grace for every need, and move from glory to glory as we humble ourselves before Him.
