As we continue to seek the face of the Master, I pray that the Spirit of the Lord will plant into your hearts such a thirst, hunger, yearning, and deep longing for Jesus just like David.

Psalms 42:1 “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.”

Whatever we do and engage in must be all about Jesus; He should be the reason for everything. May everything you engage in whether prayer, seeking, or fasting flow from that place of deep and strong burning and love for Him.

Matthew 17:3-5 “And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!””

Elijah and Moses were there but the voice said;” pay attention to my son”. It is only Jesus that matters not me or you.

Matthew 17:8 “When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.”

What do you see when you open your eyes? If it is not Jesus, then you have got it wrong.

I pray that each one of us will catch a fresh vision of Jesus tonight and that will drive us into deeper dimensions of prayer, worship, and seeking and everything we do will flow from the vision that we have caught of Him.

Mark 10:47 “And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!””

The moment they mentioned the name Jesus, Bartimaeus threw off all caution, cast away every dignity, raised his voice, and called on Him.

I pray that the church captures that fire one more time: that we may throw ourselves without caution but with absolute abandonment into the hands of the Master after all it is Him who matters.
