Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord is calling us to a place of sincere repentance where our hearts and faculties are completely focused on Him.
To the people of Jerusalem, repentance meant turning away from their evil ways, however, we need to know that it means different things to different people.
Repentance may not necessarily mean that you are sinning, but rather a change of mind or ways; from the old and contaminated ones.
Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
When people honestly break and repent corporately or individually, there will always be an outpour of the Spirit and times of refreshing from His presence shall come.
God is calling us both as the body and individuals to complete repentance. It doesn’t have to be a million people—just you and me is enough.
Many souls are in bondage and captivity yet inside the church. This is because there is a gap between what they believe and what they are experiencing; they wonder whether what they believe in is real. Their deliverance can only be by sincere repentance.
I pray the Holy Spirit will set our hearts on fire so that we may migrate to deeper dimensions in Him because as a body of Christ, we have stayed too long in this place.
PRAYER
Holy Spirit, we present ourselves as willing vessels before You. Take our hands, feet, and bodies and make them Yours. We say yes to Your call and mandate, but only if You embrace and sustain us.
Lord, help Your church. Forgive us for the abuse of authority, taking advantage of the flock, making a mockery of Your Name, and using the anointing You have given us to manipulate Your people.
Give us Your burden and yoke us with Your yoke. Let our hearts burn with Your fire again and help us to give ourselves unreservedly to the cause of Christ. AMEN
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
