The Lord is calling us to a deeper place of fellowship with Him; there is an invitation to the throne of grace to every believer.

1 John 1:1,3 1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life

3that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

If we give ourselves more to prolonged moments of just adoring, worshipping, and ministering to Jesus, we will see a greater manifestation of the Holy Spirit among us and in our lives. (2 Chronicles 5:13)

Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

These were not moments of asking God for anything but sessions of adoration, praise, thanksgiving, and blessing for who He is. This is ministering to the Lord- declaring His goodness not asking Him for something; that is petition and supplication.

2 Chronicles 5:13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,

The Lord wants to take us into that place where the church individually and as a cooperate body come and minister to Him with our hearts, worship, and thanksgiving.

As we minister to Him, we will begin to see things happen to us in a manner we have never imagined. Prayer moments don’t have to be only petitioning but declaring His goodness, greatness, faithfulness, love, etc.

As you bathe yourself in this declaration, you will begin to experience what the Bible says: ‘deep calls unto deep’; we begin to experience dimensions we have never been before and this is the beginning of the turning point in your life. (Psalm 42:7)

The Lord is seeking three kinds of people:

  1. He seeks one with faithfulness in their heart

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…

This is loyalty towards Him that nothing comes between you and Him.  (1 Corinthians 6:17) This means fellowship is continuous 24/7, there is a beautiful melody in your heart and your worship is unceasing. No evil, darkness, or any amount of pain can take this melody away.

There is an exchange when you wait/minister unto the Lord: He gives you what is of Him and He takes what is of yours- it is in that place of fellowship/ communion. (Isaiah 40:33).

Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

When you delight yourself in the Lord, His desires and feelings find expression through you. That is when you will walk with God like Enoch, Noah, etc. When Jesus said: am here to do the will of my Father; that means there was a harmony that you can only find in the place of fellowship that comes as a result of ministering to the Lord. (John 6:38)

  1. An Intercessor: this is where many of us have excelled.
  2. Worshippers: these are men/women who have arrived at that place because of the revelation they’ve had of God (John 4:24). It is in that place of worship, adoration, and declaration of His grace and all that He is that everything vanishes: everything becomes shadows in the light of His countenance.

When we migrate to that place, we will begin to see great manifestations of His workings among us.

Pay more attention to our seasons and times of ministrations unto the Lord; it can be a song or mere talking to God. He delivered you to bring you to Himself (Exodus 19:4)
