Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Every genuine product comes with a user manual detailing how and for what purpose. Our Father in Heaven is the Manufacturer; we are the product on earth, and the manual is His Word.
Doing anything outside the product manual’s prescribed instructions is product abuse, and if the product is abused over time, it will eventually collapse.
Therefore, our true satisfaction and fulfilment in life can only take place when we walk in divine purpose by aligning ourselves and functioning as the manual instructs us.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” John 10:27
We do not know the way, but as we follow Jesus, we fulfill our divine purpose. The shepherd leads, the sheep follow; He is the chief shepherd we always look up to.
There are many voices in this world; don’t be too wise to follow your instructions, nor deaf to hear His voice. Many of us went astray because we heeded the voice(s) of strangers, but thank God for His mercy by which He draws us back.
Mark 4:24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear…
Whatever information comes to your ears will distract you or keep you on the right track. The devil cannot destroy you, he will join you. That’s why you must be very careful, discerning, and sensitive to what you hear.
Examine yourself if you are still on the course you started or have fallen away. Sometimes life can try to push you off the course, but like Paul, you persevere to stay in the lane God has chosen for you because every help and everything you need in life is there. (2 Corinthians 13:5)
The Lord is calling us individually to take heed to the voice(s) coming to us, do not give in to any voice that’s trying to put you off course. Let the fear of God guide you.
Matthew 11:29-30 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light.”
As we continue to seek the Lord, let’s remain within the confines of His will, knowing that our total leaning (complete reliance) on Him is all He requires of us. I pray God will keep helping us surrender to Him in the best way we know how.
Prayer
Father, once again draw each of us to that place where we no longer depend on ourselves but fully lean on You. We have never been this way before; therefore, we need Your guidance, protection, and mighty hand upon us to lead us. Amen.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
