John 14:30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

Submission, surrender to the Lord, worship, and repentance (complete turning away), make up ninety-five per cent of spiritual warfare. The binding, breaking, and loosening are just five per cent. This is because demons have no power, they are only empowered by rebellion, sin, and disobedience.

The moment you commit yourself to a lifestyle of absolute surrender, submission, worship, and a heart of repentance, Satan will always be under your feet. This is what Jehoshaphat understood when the enemy attacked; they went into a fast (repentance) and then worshipped and God sent an ambush on the enemy. (2 Chronicles 20:1-30)

The battles we fight are not ours but the Lord’s. God never involves Himself in our battles, it has to be His battle. This is why we invite Him with our worship and when He comes, victory comes.

Does satan have anything against you?

Isaiah 6:6-7 [6]Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. [7] And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.”

Isaiah was called by God but unclean lips were stopping him from walking in the fulness of the call because Satan was using it against him to block its full manifestation not until the day the veil was taken away from him.  (Isaiah 1,2

Iniquity is a sin running in the bloodline which was unclean lips in the life of Isaiah but the Holy Fire took it away. After this, Isaiah’s ministry took off at the highest level.

It is important that as we cry out to the Lord, submit to Him, and repent (for there are things we do not know) so that He may take away anything Satan is trying to use against us. May God help us and burn away anything the devil is trying to use against us.

Zechariah 3:1-5 … [2] And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! … [3] Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. [4] Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” [5] And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.”

The filthy garments are those things carried from our past; may the Lord take away all the filthy garments in our lives so that Satan cannot stand to oppose our ministry, projects, etc.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 [3] For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. [4] For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, [5] casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, [6] and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Your obedience is what gives you leverage in spiritual warfare. If you live in rebellion and disobedience, Lucifer will laugh at you.

The Lord is calling the church to the place of purity and brokenness because He wants to pour something on His body and dethrone the works of hell that have been raging havoc in the lives of saints.

It is nothing of the Lord to save by few or many; you can choose to be that one or stay on the periphery. But make up your mind from today whether you are going to live your life the way you want or have a life governed by Jesus.

Let your life (temperaments, desires, etc.) come under the influence of the Holy Spirit so that you can become a weapon of war, an instrument of grace, and a vessel of mercy that Heaven can bank on to bring change and deliverance wherever you are.
